That's probably what students at the Meridian school in Greenwich, England, were asking themselves when the actor paid a surprise visit to the school dressed as his "Pirates of the Caribbean" character Captain Jack Sparrow.
Depp, 47, stopped by the school on Wednesday after receiving a letter from 9-year-old student Beatrice Delap, reports People. "We are a bunch of budding young pirates," wrote Dunlap, who had penned the letter after an earlier visit to the nearby "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" set. "Normally we're a right handful, but we're having trouble mutinying against the teachers. We'd love it if you could come and help."
Not long after, Depp, dressed as Captain Jack, sailed into the school with some of his cronies from the film and greeted the students at an impromptu assembly.
"He asked where I was in the audience. I put my hand up and then I had to go up and he gave me a hug," Dunlap told London Tonight TV news. "He said, 'Maybe we shouldn’t mutiny today because there are police outside monitoring me.'"
